Yoga is for every body, and each body has a unique relationship to the practice. Women's bodies especially are in constant cycles of change. By first becoming aware of our physical and emotional state of being, we can then begin to explore what practices may compliment our needs. Learning how to practice yoga in ways which most benefit the body at that moment can help bring a deeper connection to yoga and our Selves.

WEEKLY RECORDED ASANA & WOMEN'S ANATOMY CLASSES
- 2.5 HOURS PER WEEK ON YOUR OWN SCHEDULE
*ALL CALLS WILL BE RECORDED FOR CLASSES YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE ACCESS TO!

This Continuing Education intensive is especially devoted to exploring postures, sequences, and essential information for women of all ages in the practice of yoga. We will first look at the physical and emotional anatomy of women and then move into yoga as a remedy for menstrual problems, pregnancy, depression, menopause symptoms and more. We will work through postures with a special emphasis on modifications and using props. This course is applicable for anyone who would like to deepen their own practice as well as teach to others.

In addition to yoga asana, we will also explore Ayurvedic and natural remedies such as herbal medicines, salves, and tinctures. By connecting with our cycles, we will explore what types of activities, foods, and movements are best for us in the moment. We are not able to heal or prevent illness or injury with yoga alone, and so we dive into full lifestyle changes that can benefit each of us individually and uniquely. You will leave this course with clear steps to enhance your health and life in a holistic way.

Our Online Journey:

Week 1: We will begin the journey by focusing on Root chakra, physical foundation, grounding, safety and our connection to the element of Earth. We will be exploring the nervous system, stress management and calming practices. This will create the foundation for the inner map that we will explore deeper in the upcoming weeks.

Week 2: We move up to Sacral chakra diving deep into this inner creation center and the element of water. We explore our power as sovereign creator beings and find empowerment through menstrual cycle awareness. We focus on the hip & pelvic area, womb health and SI-joint stability. We will also cover herbal medicines that support our cycles.

Week 3: It is time to move up to Solar Plexus chakra, tap into the inner fire and harness the power of transformation. We will cover digestion & gut health, share Ayurvedic cleansing techniques and explore the benefits of abdominal massage.

Week 4: Here we arrive at Heart chakra, the home of the air element, evoking the winds of radical Self Love. We will work with the lymphatic & immune system and learn lymph drain breast massage. We will journey deeper with ceremonial cacao (pure form of chocolate) to access the inner potential.

Week 5: Here we discover the power of Throat chakra and refine our unique expression in the world. We will explore voice projection and language empowerment. We will focus on neck, shoulders and upper back health and explore the healing power of both silence and sound. We will be working with transparency and honesty with ourselves and those around us.

Week 6: Third Eye, the center of wisdom, invites us to explore the Wise Woman within and tap into the 6th sense. We will be working with the subtle body, bioenergetic field, energetic boundaries and frequency level patterns. We will be cleansing the third eye & pineal gland.

Week 7: The time of integration and completion. Through the Crown chakra we will explore expansion to our limitless potential and spread the wings to connect with our true nature. We will be making an action plan for daily, weekly and monthly practices that you can carry into your daily life. We will round up for a Closing Ceremony to seal the container and bring the journey into completion.
