Integration, Insight, Empathy.
By: Kali Basman
It is said a Yogi committed to the path of inner awakening, a practitioner in wholeness, hosts three essential aspects of an evolved capacity: Integration, insight, empathy.
Integration:
recognizes their limitations and their potentials
celebrates the radical possibilities of an ever evolving selfhood
understand the multiplicity of humans; no fixed self
acknowledges all the roles & parts each of us plays
listens to the wisdom from all aspects of self [even the burdened ones]
Insight:
senses their authentic nature
mitigated need for others/external experience to validate self
sees clearly the nature of impermanence
celebrates their precious, ephemeral human existence
Empathy:
interpersonal broadness to encompass other people’s distortions
capacity to feel the interior life, emotional landscape, of another
ability to experience Muddita, joy for other people’s successes
